Interview, Outreach and Introduction: At an interactive “intro day” young people learn more about C4CD programmes and participate in ice-breakers, team building activities group discussions before deciding if they want to move on to the next stage. Orientation Events: Residential Experience: “For most of the young people, C4CD residential course represents not only their first period of time away from their local environment but also their first experience of socializing & initiating friendship with complete strangers”. Young people who show interest & commitment during the first two stages of the programme are awarded with membership. Programme/Activities: Each young person is encouraged to develop a Personal Development Plan at the start of their membership. The plan sets goals, milestones and target of achievement which focus on the individual needs of each young person. “A year long programme of continuous development in their own home area. This consists of evening drop-in session which builds upon the activities and skills introduced on the residential.
